Calling all students! Student Transportation Services of Waterloo Region is putting on a challenge to walk to school on Earth Day to win prizes, including a personalized Yeti water bottle.
Don’t like walking? No worries! You could also “roll” to school on your bike, skateboard, or scooter if you prefer. Anything that saves fuel and reduces emissions helps the environment!
If it is not feasible to walk or roll the whole way to school, you can still participate by walking to and from your bus stops, getting dropped off a few blocks from school and walking the rest of the way, or taking some time throughout the day to walk around your neighbourhood.
