I am proud to announce that this year, Ontario is honouring another 20 exceptional young people with the Ontario Medal for Young Volunteers (OMYV). As the province’s highest recognition for youth volunteer service, this prestigious medal is awarded to remarkable individuals, aged 15 to 24, who have generously donated their time and energy to helping others. The 2024 and 2025 recipients will be recognized this October at a ceremony at Queen’s Park, where the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario will lead the medal presentation.

Honouring and recognizing the youth that go above and beyond to help others is essential, as they are our future. These awards show how appreciated they are by their communities, and further motivates them to continue the good work they have been doing.
